Robert Mason, Ph.D., MBA

Faculty Biography

Dr. Robert Mason joined Regis University as a ranked full-time faculty member in January, 2011. He is an Associate Professor in the College of Computer and Information Sciences. Currently he is working on the development of the courses for the new MS in Data Science - Specialization in Data Engineering. Dr. Mason was employed by various Fortune 500 companies for 25 years as a Data Architect, DBA, Manager and Software Engineer. Prior to joining RU on a full-time basis, he was an affiliate faculty member at RU for 10 years on a part-time basis while working full-time at various companies. Dr. Mason was promoted to Associate Professor in March of 2016. His research interests are Data Engineering and Blockchain. He earned a MBA from the University of North Texas and a Ph.D. in Computer Information Sciences from Nova Southeastern University.
