Ishmael Thomas, MSSE

Faculty Biography

Ishmael Thomas is the Program Coordinator, Academic Adviser, and Instructor for the Enterprise Systems Engineering Graduate Program and the Graduate Core Courses in the College of Computer & Information Sciences. Prior to his Regis employment, Mr. Thomas worked 20 years as a Systems Engineer in the Information Technology industry developing and delivering enterprise software systems to a broad range of vertical customers belonging to Hewlett Packard, CA Technologies, and VMware. In addition, Mr. Thomas serves the Denver community as a board member for the Colorado Association of Black Professional Engineers and Scientists (CABPES) and as a STEMS Instructor for the CAPBES Junior Engineers and Tomorrow’s Scientists (JETS) Program. In addition, he is the Membership Director for the Colorado Front Range (CFR) Chapter of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE). Mr. Thomas has a Master of Science in Software Engineering with Graduate Certificates in Enterprise Java Software Development and Storage Area Networks (SANs) from Regis University.
